Axcient publishes the latest business version of Recovery Cloud Improved replication and failover performance -
Axcient, a provider of Recovery-as-a-Service cloud (RAAS), has released the latest version of its cloud recovery company, providing faster replication and recovery system for both physical and virtual environments, and file and folder recovery accelerated with added support drag-and-drop. The latest version of the Axcient solution offers improved performance up to nine times faster than before and allows companies to reduce their recovery point objectives (RPO) and failover systems instantly.
With the latest version of Cloud Recovery Company, United Axcient, organizations can now export all image replication of physical and virtual server as a VMDK file, making it easy to retrieve not only VMware snapshots, but also to recover and / or migrating snapshots of physical servers as virtual machines. This (P2V) physical-virtual process is performed instantly with one click via the Axcient web interface without any conversion process.
The new version supports drag-and-drop recovery of the local device via integration with Windows explorer, allowing users to move large numbers of files and entire folders to a target device . Axcient has also extended its support instant failover. Previously, the company has supported the snapshot server failover to the most recent snapshot of the system, and with this version, allows companies instantly recover systems to a snapshot point in time. This can be done both locally and in the cloud.
latest Axcient is currently in beta and will be deployed for new and existing customers at no additional cost in the coming weeks. For more information, contact Axcient to axcient.com, sales@axcient.com email, or call (800) 715-2339.
