Laplink PCmover touts latest version of Image & Deputy reader -
Connectivity Developer Laplink Software Inc. has a new version of PCmover Image Assistant & Drive, a product designed to enable SMEs to restore an old image or hard drive to a new PC.
With the latest version, PCmover Image Assistant & training all selected transfer programs, files and settings from an image or hard drive to a new PC without overwriting, leaving the Windows operating system on the new PC unchanged. In addition, the applications selected to be restored are automatically installed, "eliminating the need to find applications already downloaded, CDs or serial numbers," according Laplink press release submitted to Channelpro-SMB.
