CloudBerry Lab has released an update of its backup service managed. The service is designed for MSPs and VARs who can use their own storage accounts on Amazon S3, Amazon Glacier, or Windows Azure to deliver a branded cloud backup for customers.

With this upgrade, the service providers can manage backup client distance options and configure and run the backup and recovery plans for their clients from a centralized control panel. enhanced remote management in managed CloudBerry Backup allows to create and modify backup and restore plans such as saving the file system, SQL Server Data Backup and Exchange backup on remote servers. Service providers can specify the backup source, create filters for specific file types and folders, configure the backup schedule and specify compression and encryption options.

All settings are made via the web interface and do not require on-site support. Once a backup or recovery plan is created and saved, it spreads to the target server. In addition, service providers can remotely run and stop backup and recovery for their clients.

Service providers can register for free CloudBerry Managed Backup Service and get 2GB of free cloud storage to evaluate the service.
