Dell PowerVault DL2300 Appliance will ship with the CommVault Simpana 9 -
The data management solutions developer of CommVault CommVault Simpana see his ship 9 software with the new appliance Dell PowerVault DL2300.
PowerVault DL2300 is the fourth generation PowerVault disk-based data protection for Dell devices designed to help IT organizations manage massive data growth, improve resource efficiency and reduce storage consumption. It combines Dell PowerEdge 12th generation servers with Simpana modern data protection software to provide SMEs integrated data backup, recovery, replication, archiving, deduplication, research, and analysis to physical and virtual servers.
Simpana 9 software is pre-configured and pre-tested on the PowerVault DL2300 to enable SMEs to move from configuration to scale-out data protection in less than an hour.
According to CommVault press release submitted to Channelpro-SMB , the PowerVault DL2300 offers up to 192 TB of deduplication storage. "The new device integrates CPU and memory of the last generation capabilities to optimize deduplication database configurations for backup performance more," developing states. "The PowerVault DL2300 powered by CommVault can reduce the time of administration and general rule-based automation fees for multiple integrated data and information management processes."
