Norton vs. McAfee: What Antivirus security software is better -
Most large suites of security software for 2013 were launched, but which one is the best ? We decided to take a look at the two biggest names in security software - Norton and McAfee - and compare their 2013 side by side deals. Here is a quick look at how they compare:

Protection: . Norton has great leg on McAfee for protection. First, it often evaluates 3 of 3 stars in independent testing by AV-Comparatives, a company security software testing. McAfee score is only one star and a half. Norton also has a lot of features that McAfee has not including SafeWeb navigation, a Facebook page scanner, personal information manager, an intelligent firewall and more. Norton is hands down better protection
Performance :. This is a fairly even match, though Norton is best in independent tests, but only by half stars. Neither the programs slows down your computer and simultaneously keep the popup messages to a minimum. However, Norton is offering real-time performance data on the programs running on your computer, and a startup manager that allows you to know which programs are using the most memory when your computer starts.
Ergonomics: Norton has an interface much cleaner and easier to use than McAfee. McAfee continues to stick to outdated design of their interface, which can make it confusing and hard to find the features you need. Norton, on the other hand, continues to innovate, create a simplified version of the interface 2013.
