Kitchen: 12 surprising facts about the UK Food Habits - More than 2,800 UK and Irish owners were asked about their cooking habits, preferences and dreams in 2015 of Kitchen Trend Report Houzz UK. The results provided an illuminating insight into the relationship between the owners and the heart of their homes. The survey we are rather fond of our kitchens and spend about 12% of our life there, which is a staggering 2.8 hours per day. It is 2.8 hours per day cooking, snacking, washing and mechanical opening and closing the refrigerator door for the umpteenth time, hoping somehow the content has changed magically in seconds elapsed.
