X-IO Technologies Expresses series of storage solutions with ISE and ISE Hybrid 740 240 -
X-IO Technologies has expanded its range of storage solutions with General availability of the storage element (ISE) 740 intelligent hybrid storage system and the performance of ISE storage system 240.
the addition of 740 hybrid ISE storage system to its 700 series means that X-IO now offers a family level 0 and Tier 1 ultra-high performance storage arrays provides up to 28.8 TB of usable capacity and up to 300,000 IOPS. To deliver this performance 3U the ISE package 740 uses a combination of enterprise-class flash drives and mission-critical hard drives high performance.
The ISE 700 series, including the new ISE 740, are all managed by continued Adaptive Data Placement (CADP) X-IO engine. The ISE 240 system performance, extends the 200 series of X-IO level 1 and 2 all-HDD storage array to 38.4 TB of usable capacity and up to 13,500 IOPS. The 200 series is ideal for server and desktop virtualization, cloud computing, and other applications with multi-tenant workloads.
Each ISE storage system is a completely self-contained storage building block designed to accelerate server and desktop virtualization solutions, as well as transactions, reports and business intelligence applications by a factor of three or more . ISE storage systems are designed to scale so that the total storage performance is maintained no matter how many ISE systems are added to increase capacity.
