NAKIVO v4.1 release for VMware Cloud, hosting, and service providers -
NAKIVO Inc., a data protection software provider for environments VMware virtualized and cloud backup, published NAKIVO backup & Replication v4.1. The latest version introduces new features to the cloud, hosting and service providers who can use NAKIVO Backup & Replication to provide VM Backup-as-a-Service, replication-as-a-Service, and disaster recovery -as-a-Service to their cloud environments.
NAKIVO provides HTTP API that enables customers to automate and orchestrate VM backup, replication and recovery jobs in NAKIVO backup & replication. The kit includes the API documentation and code samples and was designed so that even non-developers can use. The API enables cloud-hosting and service providers to integrate NAKIVO Backup & Replication v4.1 with monitoring cloud automation and orchestration solutions.
NAKIVO Backup & Replication can now automatically create, encrypt and download support packages NAKIVO a media server. This will help the NAKIVO support to quickly identify the root cause of a problem and provide a solution. In addition, the new feature can help NAKIVO Call Home Support to discover, explore and propose possible solutions to a problem.
In addition to Windows and Linux installers, NAKIVO provides pre-configured Virtual Appliances (VAS) which enable simplified deployment of the product.
