Asigra Cloud Backup Leverages Connector Cisco 2900 and 3900 routers as gateway -
Asigra Inc. announced that its new Connector Cloud Backup Appliance began shipping in volume at the end of October. Intended for businesses with multiple locations, with the sweet spot of 100 to 500 employees, Backup Cloud Connector includes a Cisco ISR G2 multifunction router (2900 and 3900 series) and UCS E-Series blade server with version 12.2 of Asigra Cloud backup and cloud software . Users with Cisco ISR G2 routers (a huge installed base) can simply add the server blade and software.
