The distributor of partnering event Ingram Micro Inc., Autumn ONE 2015 is going to Nashville on Nov. 16 19 to the Gaylord Opryland Resort. The event connects all suppliers to Ingram Micro solutions, as well as members of five elite community of solution providers for an education event networking and technology with partners around the ecosystem distributor.

In collaboration with the ONE autumn, Ingram Micro Inc. announced a strategic alliance with Apollo Education Group Inc. and its subsidiary, the University of Phoenix, to offer training channel partners and diploma programs focused on critical skills of the company increasingly in their organizations. The new education services will be available to all Ingram Micro US channel partners, and are part of fast growing Professional Services Organization entrepreneur computing.

Pre-day happenings Monday included a variety of Alliance and advisory board meetings, a welcome reception, and after several sponsored parties.

The event opened on Tuesday with a welcome to the participants, followed by honorary speaker Jim Collins, author of Good to Great .

Then were Paul Bay, executive vice president and chief executive officer, Ingram Micro US Export and Miami; and Alain Monié, CEO, Ingram Micro Worldwide, in a Q & A.

Kerry Bailey, senior vice president indirect global sales, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and then, telling the audience that HP is committed to partners. He presented Meg Whitman, who thanked all partners by video for continued growth in the SMB space.

Ingram Micro execs then took the stage. Highlights include:

  • Bay discussed how to change like HP, and how to think and act differently
  • Kirk Robinson, SVP and commercial markets worldwide sales of US , discussed how so. industry suppliers such as Microsoft and Dell are changing and working together. He told the audience not to worry about the changes because Ingram Micro's back.
  • Tim Ament, SVP, Advanced Solutions, and Eric Kohl, advanced solutions VP, Security Business Unit, discussed security breaches and the risk of not putting in solutions appropriate security to protect your data.
  • René Bergeron, vice president, global cloud, spoke to shorten the sales cycle with Ingram Micro Cloud.

afternoon included a variety of educational sessions, workshops and breakout sessions. At the end of the day participants could browse the storefront solutions, followed by happy hour and dinner

Wednesday opens with the Trust general session X Alliance, followed by Alliance Trust X :. Our new management, with presenters Peter Belyea, US co-chairman; Jason Gorjan, Canada co-chair; and Jim Veraldi, Ingram Micro executive sponsor.

Keynotes follow Lenovo, and member to member, manufacturer and community keynotes.

There are also a variety of vendors sponsored lunch and learns, training sessions, showcase solutions crowned by happy hour and dinner on the city of Nashville.

Thursday of the conference ends, including Hewlett Packard Enterprise training half day.
