Kitchen of the week: Old Forge Gets An Extension contemporary cuisine - When the owner bought this old forge in Oxfordshire, he needed a considerable amount of work to do to it . "The place has been completely gutted and redone by customers," says kitchen designer Marcus Watkins, "and we have been involved in designing the concept for the kitchen.

There is a structural column at the end of the wall cabinets. Watkins used the same laminate as cabinets to cover and conceal the support.
