Acronis acquires nScaled adds Disaster-Recovery-as-a-Service to Cloud Data Protection provides -
data protection provider, Acronis has expanded its product line with the acquisition of nScaled, a provider of Disaster-Recovery-as-a-service based in San Francisco. Customers currently using backup-as-a-Service solution Acronis will have the ability to restore their systems to the cloud disaster and restore operations if the replacement equipment is not available.
Acronis offers a variety of backup solutions for individual users and organizations of different sizes, as well as solutions for secure mobile access to files and sharing. Acronis technologies also allow service providers to offer online backup and data storage to customers with backup-as-a-Service hosted Acronis solution. Acquiring full nScaled Acronis offers cloud backup with one-Recovery-as-a-Service Disaster (DRaaS) solution. Consequently, a single source for backup and disaster recovery for any environment protection will be available to existing and new customers.
