Kitchen of the week: Industrial and monochromatic style in Barcelona - Once part of a warehouse for a women's clothing store, the kitchen retains its original pieces of industrial structure. "The place was a wreck, but structurally interesting," said the architect Felipe Araujo Egue there Seta. Customers love to entertain and wanted a kitchen that was spacious, stylish and practical. After defeating the surrounding walls, Araujo and his team integrated industrial-inspired materials with contemporary touches.

Araujo restored vaulted ceilings, wooden beams, door frames, plaster and flooring and finishes used minimum to preserve the original appearance of the warehouse.

custom cabinetry is made from the same wood salvaged as the dining table to measure. A small refrigerator is installed in the cabinet at the end of the workspace. A cabinet behind the glass partition and bamboo owns another large refrigerator and freezer. Devices kitchen cabinets and custom granite countertops, stainless steel sink and cost around £ 4,000 in total. The client provided the pendants.
