Alike v2.6 QuorumSoft Results of the Channel this quarter -
backup and disaster recovery (BDR) developer Quorum Software Inc. announced last version of its Alike DR, a BDR Citrix XenServer solution. Scheduled for general availability this month, Alike v2.6 is the latest in a series of advanced QuorumSoft designed to better enable users to protect XenServer SMB information.
"Alike v2.6 will deliver new local recovery capabilities and off-site build on the success of our recent introduction of Q-hybrid, a new way to perform backups without using QUIESCED XenServer snapshots" says CEO and co-founder QuorumSoft Phil Baskette

- Offsite VM protection - Offsite Vaulting capabilities. in v2.6 streamlines the registration process globally deduplicated data to an offsite location for disaster recovery protection XenServer
- recovery via Virtual machine . - Disk Backup and Alike memory are designed to provide capacity for the preservation of the memory state of a virtual machine during the backup so that users can restore the VM to run when backup.
- VM flexible restore options - Incremental Alike VM restoration to return and / or roll forward of a virtual machine to a specified backup status. Scheduled VM restores from on-site or off-site data stores is also offered.
- Faster backups Q-Hybrid - backup technology Q-Hybrid is expanded with NTFS advocacy capacity, which allows the same to detect and protect only the necessary data the disc.
- Multi-tenancy capabilities for MSP -. Alike V2.6 offers improved support for using the same as a DRaaS solution
