Barracuda launches version 6.0 Backup and Backup Appliance 995 -
Barracuda Networks launched the Barracuda Backup version 6.0 and expanded the range of models Barracuda Backup Backup to include 995 device. Version 6.0 features Barracuda Backup include:
- Local control: New option management for administration and replication in remote backup infrastructure environments
- LiveBrowse for Microsoft Hyper-V: file-level recovery for Hyper-V VHD / VHDX images, enabling granular file and folder restores without having to mount the entire virtual disk
- backup and restore support backup agent for Microsoft SQL 2014
- offsite replication configuration backup for replication and health notifications from site to site for replication rate limits destination site to site replication over an offsite location
Barracuda backup device 995 includes 72 TB of usable storage , connection between safeguarding 36 TB Barracuda 990 and 112 TB Barracuda backup 1090.
Barracuda backup version 6.0 is available at no additional charge to existing customers on current platforms with an active Energize Updates subscription. Barracuda Backup list price starts at $ 999 USD for the price of the device and the list of US $ 199 for Energize Updates.
