Carbonite launched a new joint sponsorship program -
Boston-based Carbonite Inc. has implemented a new policy partnership program that equips its partners tools to attract new customers and maintain relationships with existing customers.
Under the new program, partners create co-branded landing page from which customers can purchase Carbonite solutions. Once a purchase is made, the customer relationship is transferred from Carbonite partner, who receives a commission equivalent to his or her partner discount Carbonite.
"We are committed to providing our partners with the tools and resources needed to increase sales and build lasting relationships with their customers, and our new joint sponsorship program is both," says David Maffei, vice president of global channel sales, Carbonite. Maffei also said "average value of sales orders" of a partner through the program is 29 percent higher than sales of traditional channels, and partner maintains the customer relationship, once the purchase is complete.
