ReclaimPrivacy on Facebook

Concerned about your Facebook privacy? ReclaimPrivacy.org developed a bookmark applet that will scan your Facebook profile and you know how vulnerable your privacy on Facebook, at least as far as your personal settings are. Just drag the bookmark in your bookmarks bar (we tried on Firefox), log in to your Facebook page and click the bookmark.

Again, this tells you how you can refine the privacy settings you have control over, but it will not prevent Facebook allowing friends to "share" some elements information about you, your so-called "connections" or interest, and your "Name, profile Picture, Gender, and any information is visible to everyone." It is rather cloudy and dull, but ReclaimPrivacy bookmarklet is a good way to control things a little.

You can at least make sure your overshares are not displayed on OpenBook.
