Yahoo Gets Hacked: Over 400,000 emails, stolen passwords -

Yahoo warned that a hacker broke into its servers and stole more than 400,000 e- mails and unencrypted passwords. In a statement they released today they say that a group of hackers calling themselves the D33D Company, broke into their servers yesterday to steal passwords, which also included user names and passwords to other companies. The file that the hacker stole belonged Yahoo Contributor Network, which was previously associated content before Yahoo bought the company in 2010.

Yahoo said they are currently changing passwords all users who have been affected and notifying companies that may have compromised their information.
