STORServer backup solutions provider has introduced a new agent for saving Web-based workplace. STORServer Agent for Tivoli Storage Manager and Microsoft SharePoint 6.1 allows rapid backup and recovery of Microsoft SharePoint Portal 2003 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.
According STORServer, the new agent provides the ability to restore portals, top level sites, subsites and document libraries, attachments, lists, folders, areas and sub-areas individual. "Users can also schedule full incremental, or backup, differential at the site level, subsite, and item-level, preserving all versions of meta-data," the company says.
The STORServer agent is a backup and recovery solution to basic rules. The new features of this product STORServer, version 6.1, including improved business intelligence
matrix, improving the timing of the backup and restore templates, coalescing incremental backups, a friendlier discovery and a dashboard upgraded and interface.
"As the amount of data continues to grow and more information is stored and shared online, the need is more than ever to have a secure backup solution," said John Pearring, Vice President the customer service for STORServer Inc. "the new agent for SharePoint offers a fast backup solution, flexible and intelligent."
Price for STORServer Agent for TSM Microsoft SharePoint 6.1 starts at $ 1,500 per server.
