New technical training and certification programs for Veeam ProPartners -
in January 2014, Veeam Software, backup provider, replication, based in Switzerland, and management virtualization solutions for VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V, Veeam will launch the program Certified Engineers (VMCE). The program offers technical training and certification for resellers and engineers of the end user partners.
The designation VMCE indicates a level of expertise required to implement and configure Veeam software correctly and efficiently. It also verifies that the engineer has the knowledge and experience to be hired as Expert Veeam.
The company's distribution partners will be selected as centers of education Veeam allowed (VMAEC) that deliver fee-based training courses with a program developed by Veeam. For those who can not attend the live three-day instructor-led, Veeam pilot a video on demand for learning (VODL) Module in North America. Each class includes both lecture and hands on elements that allow students to learn about the technology and configuration, and configuration experience in laboratories based on customer scenarios from the real world. VMCE All candidates must pass a proctored exam as the final step in obtaining their certification. Veeam expects 1,000 to 2,000 engineers to gain VMCE distinction in the next year.
