STORserver Adds Entry-Level Backup Appliance to portfolio -
STORserver upgrades, data backup provider, made its data backup appliances. Sold exclusively through the channel, STORserver now offers a backup appliance for budgets of all sizes, including SMEs.
The new BA appliance backup the entry series is designed for customers with one to seven terabytes of backup data per device. Fully integrated for backup and archiving, the unit of the BA series includes a 15TB storage pool of disk driven by a six-core processor server with 32 GB of memory.
Other improvements include an update on the Enterprise Backup Appliance (ideal console sales for organizations requiring less 10TB up to 1PB of data), enhanced pricing on instant restore Appliance for mid-level businesses, and for self STORServer Console, which allows users to configure and manage IBM Tivoli Storage Manager environment.
