Updates Eaton Intelligent Power Manager -
Eaton, an industrial manufacturer, has released the latest version of its Intelligent Power Manager software with a new recovery data disaster and planned migration capabilities in vCenter Site Recovery Manager VMware.
The update provides automatic synchronization of the virtual machine and the launch of a backup site, or recovery failover to prevent data loss and reduce downtime during power outages. According to the company, Eaton is the first power management company to offer these functions within the VMware platform and achieve VMware Ready certification.
The Intelligent Power Manager software can be found on the VMware Solution Exchange. With Intelligent Power Manager, users can keep the operation of critical workloads and prevent data corruption during power outages. IT managers can view, monitor and manage physical and virtual servers, uninterruptible power systems, units, power distribution, and other electrical appliances.
